Landscaping accomplishments
|
Thursday evening’s storm produced more than a dozen damaged trees throughout the community. Trimming, removal of four trees, and cl0eanup of high traffic areas were completed within four hours of discovery.
This week the renovation crew finished the grading work at the Bocce Ball Court. The area drained as planned during the heavy rainfall last week. A total of 250 tons of fill dirt was used to create the new grade throughout the area. Approximately 20% less dirt needed than estimated.
Mosquito dunks were added to the Oaks main park retenion area to help prevent any mosquitos. Average rainfall leaves standing water in this retention area this time of year.

A special shout out to the crew at Four Peaks Landscaping. A resident posted on Facebook, thanking them for going above and beyond.
