Don't miss out on our film screening and panel discussion September 27th!

August 2017
What happened to Molly?

Join us September 27th at 5pm at the Catherine Cummings Theater at Cazenovia College as we show the documentary, "Where's Molly?". The film follows the story of Jeff Daly who was told at the age of 6 to forget about his sister Molly after she vanishes one day. Decades later, he searches for his long lost sister who was relinquished to an institution many years ago. A panel discussion will follow with people who were effected by institutions in unique ways.
NYSARC grant gives experiences

The Madison Cortland Chapter is very thankful to once again receive the  NYSARC Trust Services Recreation Grant. With the generous disbursement, we are able to take children, teens and adults with developmental disabilities on adventures of a lifetime, including the Syracuse Chiefs Game shown to the right.
The 27th Anniversary of the ADA

Thank you to everyone that joined us on July 27th to celebrate the 27th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act! Matt Hamill, MMA UFC gave an inspiring speech and led the march in downtown Oneida. Jennifer Slover a self-advocate also gave an address about life with a traumatic brain injury. The event proved to be a great success and we hope you will join us next July as we celebrate the 28th anniversary!
