Power Financial Credit Union Names Claire Bergquist
Executive V.P., Chief Talent and Knowledge Officer
 
PEMBROKE PINES, Fla. - (August 1, 2017) - Power Financial Credit Union is pleased to welcome Claire Bergquist as the credit union's Executive Vice President, Chief Talent and Knowledge Officer. Bergquist's appointment is effective immediately.
 
As Chief Talent and Knowledge Officer, Bergquist will be responsible for implementing management procedures, employee engagement strategies, management and employee coaching and training, salary and benefits administration, recruitment and employee relations and retention. She also will oversee HR compliance, implementation of policies and procedures, organizational development and contract/vendor management, among other duties.
 
A highly organized problem-solver, Bergquist brings more than 20 years of tactical, strategic HR experience to her new position. She joins Power Financial Credit Union from Popular Community Bank (Banco Popular) in Miami Lakes, where she was HR/People Manager, Florida Region & Shared Service Strategic Staffing for the $35 billion financial holding company.

Prior to her position at Banco Popular, Bergquist served with the Kislak Organization for 10 years, most recently as Vice President-Human Resources Director.
 
A resident of Dania Beach, Bergquist earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Villanova University. A member of the Greater Miami Society for Human Resources Management, she served on its Board as diversity director and secretary. Bergquist also is a teaching volunteer for Junior Achievement of Miami and previously served as a committee member with Habitat for Humanity of Greater Miami.
