This Sunday, join novelist and teacher Anne Bernays as she chronicles her many years maneuvering through the thickets of a patriarchal culture. Some of the topics will include publishing in the fifties, second wave feminism, and keeping one's own name after marrying.
 
Anne Bernays is the author of ten novels, including Professor Romeo and Growing Up Rich, as well as two works of nonfiction: The Language of Names written with Justin Kaplan and What If? written with Pamela Painter. Her articles and essays have appeared in numerous major publications, among them The Nation, the New York Times, Town & Country, and Sports Illustrated. 1:30-3:00pm, 30 JFK Street. Read more here.
