PRELIMINARY COUNTY EQUALIZED VALUES RELEASED

Last week, the Wisconsin Department of Revenue (DOR) released it preliminary equalized values and net new construction reports for all municipalities and counties.  The release of the preliminary report is intended to provide counties with an opportunity to review their respective property values prior to the August 15, 2017 certification.

Due to the relationship between county levy limits and changes in county equalized values/net new construction, we encourage you to review these reports immediately.  If you suspect an error, you should contact the Wisconsin Department of Revenue or the Wisconsin Counties Association by August 7, 2017.
