We are partnering with Long Island University's MPA Program for a policy forum addressing homelessness in New York City on
W
ednesday, June 14, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m at LIU Brooklyn.
Forum topics include: how to attract media attention to cover causes, solutions and stories of homelessness, ways to provide adequate housing for those living in extreme poverty and barriers that undocumented people face while homeless. Leading NYC homeless policy-makers, homeless service providers, advocates, and clients will be joining us for the panels.
CFH's former Executive Director, Bobby Watts will be delivering the keynote address. The forum was named in his honor for his decades of service and leadership in the fight to end homelessness.
Event admission is
FREE and open to the public. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. Please join us and contribute to this important conversation.
Please note that the entrance will be on 1 University Plaza between Willoughby Street and Dekalb Avenue. There will be a security gate and from there you will follow the signs to the first floor of the Library Learning Center.
