Our Customer's Feedback
"BTW, I really like the HTML report combo with the 271. You guys really work hard to create a great product.  There's no reason why most all practices shouldn't be using your clearinghouse.  President Trump only needs to point to PI as the perfect example of what a great American business can be.  Of the several clearinghouses we've dealt with over 30 years, none has been more customer-focused, nor has had a more feature-rich product and service than PI."   Wayne Cooper, Cooper IT
Is It Really Important To Update Windows?

Although we all get annoyed by Windows' seemingly endless 'New updates are available' alerts, it is never a good idea to disregard them. With new security threats being reported so frequently, you ignore these updates at your own risk.
Security issues are the worst possible errors, as they may be exploited by malware or hackers. These types of situations are regularly identified in various parts of Windows - ActiveX, Internet Explorer and .Net Framework for example.
Password Information

The leading issue in technology today is internet security. Think of all the things that are password protected today: email accounts, bank accounts, smart phone pass codes, social media accounts, ATM pin codes, PC start screens, and even dishwashers. With so many facets of our lives depending on being secured and safeguarded behind a password, is it any surprise that hackers are constantly trying to break these passwords?
That's why it's so critical that you use strong passwords, and a variety of passwords.

About working at PI:
I joined Practice Insight in 2013 and am currently The EDI Product Training Specialist.  You might have seen or heard me at Conferences, Webinars and Training sessions. Getting to work with our partners is the best part of my day. I enjoy being onsite with our customers the most because I get to see into our partners world a little more. This gives me better ideas on how PI tools can be best utilized. I love what I do and it certainly makes coming into the office that much easier!

Outside of work:
I was born in Omaha Nebraska and raised in Houston. My family moved here with Enron (Yes that Enron).  Being the oldest son of 4 siblings meant I spent 90% of my time outside in Houston growing up. So I grew to dislike being hot all year round.  That led me to the University of Nebraska after High School.  I was a Cheerleader at Nebraska for 5 years which greatly helped with the cost of out of state tuition! I am still a die hard Nebraska fan, but have grown to like the Houston Texans as well. So I spend my weekends watching football or playing with my pet Boxers  - Bo & Bailey).

Eligibility Response Options

Everyone knows that the standard response to an ANSI 270 eligibility request is an ANSI 271 file. However, not everyone knows that Practice Insight (PI) has created multiple response options to make it easier for our partners to display the 271 information for their clients.

For SFTP eligibility batches, PI can return a JSON response file that contains tags for both the raw 271 and the code for our html page for each individual request sent in the batch. This will allow you to pull the html and display it where you want within your application.

For HTTPS requests, PI has multiple options besides the raw standard 271 response. We can return a JSON response that includes both the html and the 271 data, or you can choose to return the actual 271 HTML view that PI displays for each request within eligibility manager, or you can choose to have a pdf response of the 271 HTML view.

NOTE: Please do not need to send the same request multiple times to get the raw 271 and the HTML view. The JSON and HTML response options contain the raw 271 and the HTML together.
