Engineering Professor Elected to National Academy of Inventors
Richard Riman, distinguished professor
of materials science and engineering in Rutgers' School of Engineering, has been elected as a Fellow of the National Academy of Inventors.
He currently holds more than 10 U.S. patents and patents pending for the "low-temperature solidification" process he invented with Vahit Atakan, a former doctoral student, and post-docs Surojit Gupta and Qinghua Li. Atakan now works at Solidia Technologies, a local company Riman founded to commercialize the LTS technology. Read more here.
