FRIDAY NIGHT MOVIE NIGHT
Friday, December 9 | 6 pm

Dance your way around the Antarctic with the lovable, adorable, chirpy “Happy Feet” movie! Great for kids ages 5+ and includes pizza, juice boxes, and an ice cream treat. $5 snack fee per child (adults free!). HOLIDAY OPEN HOUSE
Saturday, December 10 | 2pm-5pm

The Rhode Island Historical Society will open the doors of the Aldrich House for festivities, food, crafts, music, and special guests from Trinity Repertory Company with performances by the Very Merry Dickens Carolers. Enjoy home made cookies while getting crafty with holiday ornaments. Perfect for theatrical kids (and adults) of all ages.

FIRESIDE SONGS & SOUNDS

Step into Christmas at Linden Place where you’ll find decorations in every nook and cranny, imaginative Christmas tablescapes, and a towering tree framed by a four-story spiral staircase. Enjoy fireside performances featuring Christmas tunes and a sing-a-long on December 11; and Celtic tunes on December 16. All ages.

HOLIDAY STORY TIME
Wednesday, December 14 & 21 | 4pm

Come gather around for a reading of a selection of favorite holiday stories. Accompanied by soft piano music, this event is just what your young and imaginative toddlers and kids will enjoy. After story time, enjoy a cookie with hot cocoa and make a craft. Donate a new or gently used storybook for a child in need this holiday season and get in Free!

GET YOUR GREENS!
Friday, December 23 | 3pm-7pm

While the local growers at the Mount Hope Farmers Market will need to take time off for the holiday, they want to make sure YOU get your greens for Christmas! All the fine produce and goodness of the regular market will be available and last minute gifts and treasures by local artisans too! Wear your holiday hat and celebrate farming and family.

HOLIDAY CANDLELIGHT TOURS
Wednesday, December 28 & Friday, December 30 |  4pm-7pm

Before the end of the season and once the holiday rush is over, find time to enjoy the less frenetic side of Christmas with candlelight tours hosted by Hearthside House. Costumed interpreters bring the history of the house alive. A perfect chance for an evening out with family, house guests, or an opportunity to see the decorations with your little ones.
