Stanley Edwin Earley  1926 - 2016 

Stanley Edwin Earley
was born on December 11, 1926, the ninth of ten children to David and Lula Earley in Wadsworth, Ohio.   Stanley was preceded in death by his parents and siblings.

Raised in Wadsworth, Ohio, his family is recognized as one of the first African-American families in the region.   Stanley graduated from Wadsworth High School.   He was a member of the Eureka Lodge No.52 for more than 25 years.   He retired from the United States Postal Service in 1976 as a Post Office Clerk after 24 years of service.   An avid golfer, he later worked for the Cleveland Metroparks System at both Manakiki and Shawnee Golf Courses.   He played all of the courses in the Greater Cleveland and Akron areas as an amputee.   Many awards to his credit include, Hole In One, On June 17, 2000, at Shawnee Hills 118 yards on the 9th hole.

Stanley departed this life on November 27, 2016 at the Windsor Heights Alzheimer Care Center, Beechwood, Ohio.   He is survived by his caregiver and friend, Deborah M. Turner, Esq.; niece Bernadine Robinson of Los Angeles, California;  and a host of nieces and nephews.
