Constitution Day was celebrated at the Embassy on 9th December, 2016. Deputy Chief of Mission Amb. Taranjit Singh Sandhu addressed and welcomed the gathering on the occasion, which was attended by The Honourable John M. Mott, Associate Judge, Superior Court of the District of Columbia and other distinguished guests. The event included screening of an episode from the tv-serial Samvidhan and a talk on "The Making of India's Constitution: American Influences and Contributions" by Mr. Vikram Raghavan. A Photo Exhibition on the life of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar was declared open.  Over 125 guests attended the function. Photographs relating to the event are enclosed.
