About our Speakers

Melissa Mundt joined the Unified Government’s County Administration team in 2015.  As an Assistant County Administrator, Mundt is responsible for providing direct oversight of County and City departments such as Public Works, Community Development, Transportation, Purchasing, Clerk’s Office and Planning.

Before joining the UG, Alan Howze was part of IBM’s Public Sector group, where he worked directly with local, state and federal governments to improve operational efficiency and promote effective government management. He also served Virginia Governor Mark Warner as a senior advisor in charge of leadership and strategy development.
