PROJECT UPDATE
I-71/75 NORTHBOUND WILL BE REDUCED TO ONE LANE ACROSS THE BRENT SPENCE BRIDGE
BEGINNING TODAY, SUNDAY, AUG. 6 AT 9 A.M.

Beginning today, Sunday, August 6 at 9 a.m., I-71/75 northbound will be restricted to one lane across the bridge as crews move barriers into the Phase 3 traffic pattern. This shift is earlier than previously announced due to crews being able to work ahead of schedule. There will be no access to I-71 northbound during this transition. Drivers wanting to take I-71 north should detour across SR 562 (Norwood Lateral) or SR 126 (Ronald Reagan Cross County Highway) once in Ohio. Once two-lane travel resumes no later than 5 a.m. on Monday, August 7, the bridge will be in the Phase 3 lane configuration

I-71/75 SOUTHBOUND IS NOW IN THE PHASE 3 CONFIGURATION

The southbound lanes of the Brent Spence Bridge are now in the Phase 3 lane configuration. Traffic is shifted to the two eastern-most lanes; the two western-most lanes are closed. Drivers should plan ahead and know which lane they need to be in to reach their destinations.
