Cheers to the Summer

It's the end of July and clearly Summer is in full swing, as are we. For the past two months, we have been celebrating summer in style - lending our hand at popular events from Columbus, OH to Sparta, KY and all points in between. One interesting theme we found along the way: Beer. For a few weeks in a row, we were "tapped" (pardon the pun) for unique events produced by signature local and national breweries. Those jobs included:

  • Deschutes Brewery out of Bend, OR called upon us to handle all staging, audio, lighting, power and permitting needs for the Cincinnati stop of their Street Pub Tour that took place downtown on June 24.
  • Rhinegeist celebrated their fourth anniversary on July 1 in true brewery style - hosting a party with a disco twist and 1970s flair. We were on hand to supply all production, including audio, staging, lighting, video and technical labor.
  • The fun continued in Columbus, OH when Smallpools performed at New Belguim's Tour de Fat stop at the state's capital, also held on July 1. The eclectic event featured circus performers, attendees in costumes, and of course - beer and music. We were on the scene, providing backline for the Smallpools performance.

Of course, breweries weren't the only jobs on our schedule.
Additionally, we have been honored to recently be called upon to work
with some of the region's most popular summer events, such as:

  • Supplying all the production needs for the annual, exclusive Diner En Blac event at the Art Museum on June 24.
  • Fulfilling the entire production needs for the City of Ft. Thomas' week-long Sesquicentennial Events, celebrating their 150th anniversary. The week featured a variety of performances at the Ft. Thomas Amphitheater in Tower Park capped off with a  headline performance by The Mighty Mighty Bosstones on July 8.
  • Tackling all of the Kentucky Speedway's needs during their July 6-8 race weekend. We managed 12 different brand-activations and dozens of driver interviews throughout the track during the three day tenure.
