PROJECT REMINDER

I-75 SOUTHBOUND WILL BE REDUCED TO ONE LANE ACROSS THE BRIDGE THIS WEEKEND
Beginning tonight at 9 p.m. through Monday, July 31 at 5 a.m., weather permitting, travel on I-75 southbound will be limited to the LEFT (east) lane only across the Brent Spence Bridge. Two-lane travel will resume in time for Monday morning rush hour.

The right lane closure on the bridge will cause the 5th Street Exit in Covington (Exit 192) to be closed. Travelers will detour using the 12th Street Exit (191).

Once these closures occur, announcements will be posted in the Daily Travel Advisory page of BrentSpence2017.org, and on the project  Facebook page and  Twitter feed.

These ramp and lane closures are in addition to the closures currently in place. Detour information is posted on the Plan Your Drive page of the project website.

NIGHTLY PERIODIC LANE CLOSURES BEGIN ON I-75 SOUTHBOUND THROUGH PHASE 2
I-75 southbound will periodically be reduced to one lane across the bridge. These closures will last no longer than one hour to provide work zone access to maintenance vehicles and will continue nightly throughout Phase 2 of the project.

Please note: During these closures there will be no access to the 5th Street Exit in Covington (Exit 192).  Travelers will detour using the 12th Street Exit (191).

ONCE ON THE BRIDGE, VEHICLES CANNOT CHANGE LANES DURING PHASE 2
Know your lane before getting on the Brent Spence Bridge. During the Phase 2 traffic pattern, through traffic can use lanes on either side of the center work zone. However, northbound travelers will need to use the right lane for I-71 north and the left lane for I-75 north. Southbound travelers will need to use the right lane to reach the Covington 5 th  Street Exit (Exit 192).
