GUESS WHAT WE'RE UP TO!

It's November, there is a chill in the air, vendors have been contacted and are showing interest...it's beginning to feel a lot like Christmas (at least in our minds).  We are sooooo excited and can't wait to transform Veteran's Plaza into a village, the 1st of its kind in Downtown Silver Spring.

Here's what's happening to make this dream a reality.

Mimi
-Mimi and the crew are pounding the pavement spreading the word to bring the most unique vendors to our very 1st market.  Keep the efforts coming.  It is all going to pay off!!

Rose
-Rose is leading the way in soliciting sponsors to make our event a HUGE success!  Keep thinking outside of the box of people and companies that want to be a part of what we are doing.  They are out there, we just have to be creative and find them.  Together, we ROCK!

Catherine
-Catherine is sharing the love and getting other students in on the festivities through entertainment.  Music just takes an event to a whole new level.  Silver Spring, I hope you are ready to kickoff the Holiday season Christmas Village style!

Up this week.  
More emails; m ore pounding the pavement; working with the volunteer coordinator to circulate the volunteer opportunity and a possible site visit on location.....wooohooooo!  We are rollin and there is not stoppin us!
