Connecticut Pregnancy Reasonable Accommodation Rights Expanded:
 
Governor Malloy signed into a law a bill (H.B 6668) which creates additional protections and rights to reasonable accommodations for pregnant employees.



 
OSHA Electronic Recordkeeping Deadline Extended to December 1st - Upload Portal to Be Operational August 1st
 
For employers subjected to submitting their 2016 300A data electronically in 2017,the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has extended the deadline for these electronic submissions from July 1, 2017 until December 1, 2017. 

 


New I-9 Is Available - Required Starting September 18th!


The United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has issued a new Form I-9.  The changes are fairly minor in scope.
