Join College of DuPage Political Science Professor Melissa Mouritsen and Information Literacy Librarian Jennifer Kelley for an exploration of 2,500 years of fake news. Learn about the social and political impact of misinformation in its many forms - fake news, propaganda, muckraking, yellow journalism, alternative facts, and more. Reserve your spot.

Cut the cord and watch TV without an expensive cable subscription. Learn about Roku and Apple TV and how to stream television and movies through services like Netflix, Hulu, and Hoopla (a free library resource). Reserve your spot.

Join a "living-room-style" discussion in The Lounge about The Gift of Failure: How the Best Parents Learn to Let Go So Their Children Can Succeed by Jessica Lahey, JD as part of the Glenbard Parent Series: Navigating Healthy Families. Copies of each book discussion title are available near the High School Room. Reserve your spot.

Holiday Walk at GEPL

Celebrate the season with the library before heading to downtown Glen Ellyn for the Village's annual tree lighting ceremony. Enjoy crafts, a holiday game show from Sparkles Entertainment, and music from Vivaldi Strings, One Voice Choir, and the Glenbard South Madrigal Singers.

Fashion Show! Glen Ellyn Winter Showcase
Sunday, November 12 | 11 am-2 pm
Come to the Glen Oak Country Club to shop for the season's must have holiday gifts at the Silent Auction and enjoy fashions presented by Glen Ellyn Boutiques. A portion of the event proceeds will benefit the Glen Ellyn Infant Welfare Society. Learn more and reserve your spot.
