Thanks to an outpouring of #GivingTuesday gifts and matching donations, Temple Emanu-El is able to continue providing wonderful programming and services for our members.  Due to the generosity of 56 members and friends, Temple received $16,596 in JUST ONE DAY! Thank you!

Everyone is welcome to join our congregational family for a Shabbatluck Dinner. 

This week's family service will include the participation of 3rd and 6th grades.  Meet and schmooze with these students, their families, and our congregation during a friendly potluck dinner and stay for a delightful Shabbat service.

Please bring a dish to share. The following designations are based in the first letter of your last name:
A-L: Side dish, salad, fruit           M-Z: Main Dish

Join the Cantor for lunch, and bring your thirst for Jewish liturgy!  Bring a sack lunch and join Cantor Amanda on the first Wednesday of each month to share in a stimulating discussion of Jewish liturgy and music. This event is open to the community.

Temple Emanu-El presents a Shabbat experience geared towards families with children ages 1-30 months.  Little ones will enjoy a service full of Shabbat songs, Torah talk, and parachute play!  Kiddush, motzi, and a bagel oneg sponsored by Temple Emanu-El Sisterhood follows this fun-filled program.  What a great opportunity for parents of young children to meet and form groups- perhaps even life long friendships- with their peers.  Everyone is welcome!

Led by Rabbi Magat and Cantor Amanda Winter, families with young children will enjoy upbeat songs, a short story, and a talk with the Rabbi on the bimah during these brief services. The perfect way to introduce your little ones to the tradition of Friday nights. Followng services, enjoy a delicious dinner provided by Sisterhood, of course at no charge!

We are partnering with Jewish Family Services of Silicon Valley to fulfill the Chanukah holiday wishes of families and seniors who would otherwise go without gifts. We have displayed in our foyer a dreidel board full of wish cards that you can choose from.
