HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
From all of us at United Way of Whatcom County we wish you all the best for this festive time of year. Thanks to our supporters many local families will have food on the table and a roof overhead this holiday season. Thanks for making great things happen for our community all year long!

There are so many amazing organizations and individuals helping to make our 2016 Campaign a success! Like Danielle from the City of Bellingham pictured above. From small local companies to government agencies, and from large corporations to nonprofits, we are thankful for the variety of groups and individuals helping to support our efforts.

Check out these photos of our crew out and about in Whatcom County on the United Way Campaign trail.

Were you a Campaign Coordinator this year at your workplace? Don't forget to complete this survey to share your thoughts on the campaign. We use your feedback to continually improve our work:

Have you seen WECU's 2016 United Way Campaign video? These clever folks have done it again using a fun and humorous message to spread the word to employees about their United Way Campaign. Nice work WECU!

Pictured above is a local volunteer helping a visitor at the 2016 Project Homeless Connect. United Way of Whatcom County is proud to be fiscal sponsors of this event.

This past year donations to United Way of Whatcom County have helped support amazing programs like Project Homeless Connect and 35+ other local programs that helped to ensure kids are ready for school, that teens graduate high school, that families have food on the table and a roof overhead, and that all individuals have access to the ability to live a healthy life free from violence and abuse.

But you might not know that your donations to United Way of Whatcom County also helped hundreds of people access affordable prescription medications through our partnership with FamilyWize. And that every family with a pre-school aged child received a free Kindergarten readiness calendar that we produce every year for local families (in English and Spanish). These are your donations at work! Check out some more facts about our work that you might not be aware of:
