A Message from Pastor Grant Applehans
Greetings In the Name of Jesus!

Sunday is coming! But it will be an hour delayed.  Come celebrate the falling back of daylight savings time by doing a trust fall with Jesus!   This Sunday in worship we celebrate the living connections we have in Christ - connections with those who have gone on to God's heavenly kingdom and with those who have not yet been born.  It's a day to celebrate all saints, and that includes you.  So, join us as we gather at the river of God's love and grace, and see where the current takes you!
Worship times:

8:30am Traditional
10am Contemporary
See you there!

You're Invited!
November 19th - GENEROSITY SUNDAY will be a wonderful morning at St. Paul Lutheran Church and the Loaves and Fishes want you to know that YOU are invited!

We will have a single service at 9:00 with Brunch.

At this service we will be returning our 2018 pledge cards , responding to our 4th Quarter Generosity
Sunday and hearing special music from the Fall Choir that reminds of us to give
thanks always.

In a world that is being turned upside down by wildfires, hurricanes and floods, we have a special calling to remember to be grateful for safety.   It is our turn to respond with generosity while others are unable.   We have been flexing our generosity muscles all year.   I wonder, was God preparing us so that we would be ready to step forward to help those who are suffering?

We are a necessary part of God's divine plan for this world.  Together, we will celebrate the joy of being His hands and feet with a brunch hosted by the Loaves and Fishes team following worship.   We will look back on all we have accomplished this year and give thanks for God's leading and the Holy Spirit's help in responding.

Please note: this is a hosted event.   No need to bring a dish to share, just bring your appetites!

Finally, following brunch will be the Greening of the Sanctuary.    Please stay for fun and fellowship as we prepare the sanctuary for the birth of our Lord.

See you there!

TAKING CARE OF GOD'S HOUSE

... just as God takes care of the bird's of the air, we too should take care of His house.
Saint Paul Lutheran feels so blessed to have His house, one we can commune in, educate. prepare for giving, and share with community.

This is a friendly reminder asking everyone who uses the church to honor it with your greatest of care.  Please help keep electrical costs down by making sure all the lights are turned off.  To keep His house safe, please double-check that all doors are located and all Fire Doors are shut tight.
And finally ... just as He asks that we put all our trust in Him ...
We trust you will leave His house as Clean and Blessed as you found it.

God Bless ... and Thank you!
