Devotional
Philemon 1:1-25

Read Philemon. Here we find a beautifully redemptive thread. A runaway slave has become a Christian, and a great blessing to Paul. Now his former owner is given the opportunity to continue the redemptive thread.

According to Eph 5:2, 'you have walked in love' toward us and we are grateful for your love and acceptance. We have accepted an assignment as Associate Pastor of the Independence Fort Osage Church of the Nazarene. We plan to return to Harrisonville Church some day. So, our fellowship with you remains a valuable prospect for us. God bless you."

PRAYER FOR TODAY

Some trust in chariots  and some in horses,
but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.
They are brought to their knees and fall,
but we rise up and stand firm.
Lord, give victory to the king!
    Answer us when we call!

Psalm 20:7-9 (NIV)
