BLOG
We hope that everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving break! A huge thank you to all of the staff and students that helped to prepare a fantastic Yom Dor L'Dor (Grandparents/Special Persons Day) last week. Click Here to view more photos from the event!
Dear Heilicher Parents,

Jacks. Dominoes. Scattergories. What a blast to walk through the hallways last week and see our students and their grandparents and special friends engaged in conversation about their favorite childhood toys. Thank you to all who attended - a record 120+ guests. If your family missed out, you can look forward to another Yom Dor l'Dor in April. Intergenerational activities are something we cherish at Heilicher and hope to do more of as we launch new experiential learning programs (stay tuned for more about that).

Speaking of new programs, tune in to our first-ever "Virtual" Town Hall meeting on Monday, December 5, at 8:00 p.m. I'll be sharing a "State of the School" and answering your questions. Send in your questions in advance to townhall@hmjds.org . We'll email you a link early on Monday to attend this live videoconference. Thanks in advance for your participation as we experiment with this new format.

Finally, please mark your calendars for upcoming holiday events: our Choir Concert at the IDS Center on Monday, December 19, 12:00 p.m., and our Lower School Hanukkah Program on Wednesday, December 21, at 2:30 p.m.

B'shalom,
Yoni
