October and November were wet and the forecast is for a wetter than normal winter to follow due to La Nina. In October we received 8.31" of rain or 277% of normal. In November we received 5.63" of rain or 122% of normal. Over that stretch, we had measurable rain 48 out of 61 days. To make landscape life even more difficult, November was a balmy 5.3 degrees above normal.

reports for cooling to at or even below normal but the precipitation is anticipated to be wetter than normal due to
La Nina
. We are closely monitoring the forecast as it impacts our normal operations as well as our
Snow and Ice Services
. We are also monitoring winter precipitation and snow-pack as it impacts our water supply for the coming summer. Luckily, the frustrating wet fall and winter should lead to a good water year this summer.
