"The AWL program is a transformational experience in a way that is tough to describe. I've always admired the incredible work these program leaders have done and I'm thrilled to now be a participant in the Fall cohort.
There's nothing else like it; AWL goes deep - to the root of issues, the underlying motivators and the tough realities we face as leaders. I'm sure it's impacted me in ways I still have yet to uncover. And now I'm forever a part of the AWL community of women I admire and I expect to learn from them well after my cohort ends."
2016 marked the 3rd anniversary of the Women in Business Retreat, which saw approximately 200 local women business leaders, female entrepreneurs, C-suite executives and those on the executive path join Indy Chamber for a 2 day event, which included networking opportunities, a cocktail reception, dine-around dinners, fire-side chats, Zumba, coffee and cordials and much, much more!
Join Indy Chamber this year for the day and hear engaging topics like Money on the Table and Unlocking the Power to Think Differently, or stay overnight and participate in a wine and spirits tasting and organized group dinners at restaurants like Morton's Steakhouse, Oceanaire, Prime 47, and Capital Grill.

IWL Foundation and the Psychology Department at IUPUI have teamed up to create the Working Women's Research Network (W²RN). The purpose is to learn more about the working lives of women and men in our community and provide solid, research-based insights to employers and individuals and give specific, data-supported advice to participants on career management.
We're proud to release our first research brief, focusing on women and their career aspirations.
Download the Volume 1 W2RN Research Brief,
Working Women and Career Aspirations for data gathered from 400 local women and men within our Indiana and Kentucky network.
This first study focuses on:
Women's career sacrifices
Alternative work arrangements
Mentoring

The full report will be released in 2017. Stay tuned to future communication about that release.
