POAH to partner in second Choice grant redevelopment

POAH will co-develop a second major urban revitalization in a decade with a HUD Choice Neighborhood Grant announced Dec. 12 by HUD Deputy Secretary Nani Coloretti  and Boston Mayor Martin J. Walsh. The $30 million Choice grant will help revitalize the Whittier Street public housing development in the Roxbury neighborhood of Boston, in partnership with the Boston Housing Authority and Madison Park Development Corporation   Read more

POAH's Chicago Choice work featured in publications
As P OAH nears completion of its Chicago Choice neighborhood revitalization, HUD's  Edge online magazine and Tax Credit Advisor have published features about the South Side redevelopment. POAH partnered with the City of Chicago and community organizations to create 800 units of housing in a mixed-income, mixed-use development.
POAH continues renovations of Florida senior housing
POAH has closed on the financing for the renovations of Trinity Towers East and Trinity Towers South, in Melbourne, FL.  The two senior high rises are part of the three- building property acquired by POAH in 2013 from Holy Trinity Episcopal Church. Last year, POAH completed renovations on Trinity Towers West.
Rhode Island officials celebrate senior housing


U.S. Senator Jack Reed (D-RI), Barbara Fields, Executive Director of Rhode Island Housing,  Governor Gina Raimondo, Rhode Island General Treasurer Seth Magaziner and other partners attended the ribbon cutting for the renovation of Aaron Briggs Manor and Cherry Hill Apartments, two housing developments for low-income seniors.
