Spectrum News presents weekly public affairs show
Spectrum News presents a new and exclusive series about the issues that matter most to Texans. Introducing: In Focus with Liz Jeneault.
Each week, award-winning Spectrum News reporter Elizabeth Jeneault invites elected officials, industry analysts and community leaders to discuss topical issues from a wide variety of perspectives. These roundtable discussions differ from soapbox-style cable news shows in a key way: Elizabeth focuses on how these issues affect the viewers on a local level.
The show airs on Spectrum News at 9:30 a.m. on Sundays with an encore showing at 6:30 p.m. on Sundays. Information on past and upcoming episodes can be found on the

Charter boosts home safety and health
Charter Communications employees in October helped to make homes in El Paso and Beaumont safer and healthier with the company’s
Spectrum Housing Assist
program.
About 40 employee volunteers in El Paso partnered with the Red Cross on Oct. 21 to install 157 free smoke detectors in 83 homes. And on Oct. 23, employees at the Spectrum retail store in Beaumont distributed more than 80 free Safe & Healthy Home kits to residents in need. The kits contain first aid items, smoke detectors, cleaning supplies and other products to assist homeowners who are continuing to recover from the impact of recent storms along the Texas coast.
Spectrum Housing Assist is a national program with a goal of improving 25,000 homes in the Charter footprint by the year 2020.
