The City of Marion has established the Urban Activation Project. There is $250,000 available to support suitable projects which enhance infrastructure and community amenity around local shopping districts within the City of Marion. Applications close on 30 November 2017.

Are you a new start up?
Local and international startups with game-changing ideas can now apply for Bridge to MassChallenge Australia In partnership with the State Government and Microsoft, Bridge to MassChallenge Australia will select 15 startups to participate in an intensive, four-day bootcamp in Adelaide (Dec 4-7).

The bootcamp will culminate in a pitch competition where the top five teams will win a trip to Boston, USA. There is no fee to participate and no equity taken.  This year, Microsoft will provide scholarships for up to five Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander-founded startups.  Got a game-changing startup? Apply now!

    
Innovation Lecture 2017 @ Tonsley
Australia has a legacy of world leading innovators, inventors and entrepreneurs. 

Professor Andrew Harris innovates to bring radical new technologies to the construction industry.  From a test lab in Sydney's Chippendale district, engineers disassemble off-the-shelf video game components to rig up new onsite safety tools, while new technologies like virtual reality and 3D printing are being adapted to deliver faster projects and unique designs which could not have been done with the tools of the past.

Disability Workforce Hubs
 
Disability Workforce Hubs connect job seekers with local employers, training providers and employment agencies to help fill local job opportunities in the growing disability sector.

The Southern Hub is funded by the State Government to connect job seekers with employers, training providers and support agencies to meet workforce demand as a result of the NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) roll-out in Southern Adelaide from 1st January 2018.
