NEWS FROM COUNSELING SERVICES
All Classes
SENIORS
Just a reminder that all seniors should be checking out scholarship sites such as
Fastweb.com and
Scholarships.com. In addition, any scholarships that come into the Counseling Office are immediately put on Naviance under 'scholarships'. Please check out these sites on a regular basis and apply to those scholarships where you meet the criteria. Good Luck!
JUNIORS
All juniors are asked to complete the 'Career Interest Profile' survey on Naviance by mid January. This survey can be found on the 'Career' tab from the Naviance homepage.
SOPHOMORES
All sophomores are asked to complete the 'Do What You Are' Personality survey on Naviance by mid January. This can be found on the 'About Me' tab from the Naviance homepage.
The results of both Junior & Sophomore surveys will be reviewed with students by the Counseling Office.
JUNIORS & FRESHMEN
In January the Counseling Office will review PSAT scores with all juniors and PSAT 8/9 scores with freshman. The CO will also meet with the freshman to help them prepare for mid term exams.

Parents' Club General Meeting Tuesday, January 10, 2017 @ 7:00 PM
Please join us for our next general meeting to learn more about "Night at the Races" and to discuss ideas for new events for the 2017-18 school year.

Remember, if you don't want, need or like some of the items that Santa leaves for you--please donate them to the Parents Club! Gift Cards, housewares, accessories, liquor, etc, can all be sent to school marked for Parents Club (liquor must be dropped off by an adult), or bring donations to the meeting on January 10th.
Night at the Races

7:00-11:00
Escape the winter blues and enjoy an evening out with friends! Eat, drink, place your bet, and cheer on your horse across the finish line!
There will also be raffle baskets, 50/50 drawing, lottery chances, and more! This event is open to the public; must be over 21 to attend.
Tickets $20 in advance; $25 at the door.
Ticket price includes roast beef, pasta, salad, beer, wine & soda
