Sacred Ground Campaign Update
The first person to respond to last month's IJC Voice appeal for 400 donations of $1000 towards the Loyola House sanitation system upgrade is Barbara Anderson, a 2016 40-Day Spiritual Exercises retreatant.

"Since the Spiritual Exercises I am in rhythm, in flow, with all Life in a way I have never known before. Life still has all its ups and downs, its sorrows and joys and its 'not-knowings', of course, but with the Grace I experienced during my 40 Day Spiritual Exercises, Grace which endures, I am more able to maintain an inner stance of self-compassion, gratitude, clarity, curiosity, freedom, hope, and a deep daily awareness of knowing I am so very blessed. What a gift!"

About our appeal, Barbara said, "I pray that anyone who can help support Loyola House will respond to the call to do so."  She hoped her donation would be followed by 399 more.

And, in fact, the next day, IJC's Board member, Nadia Martin donated $1000! And the next day, a hermitage retreatant donated $1000. And three IJC staff pledged $1000 through monthly donations. Help us keep the momentum flowing.
