November 9th Workshop for NE Sandy Blvd. Improvements

The goal of this one hour workshop at 6:30 PM is to provide input on the transportation, pedestrian, bicycle, green space, business district, livability and safety issues of the corridor. The Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) will use the information to develop a proposal for a Metro grant. Community members are invited to share thoughts, ideas, and concerns about the corridor facilitated by PBOT, info [email protected].

Learn Leadership Skills with Edúcate Ya- Avanza!

Learn how to more effectively serve your community with Avanza. A free six week series geared towards latinx education, social, cultural and wellness leadership development. This is made possible with a CNN small grant from the Office of Neighborhood Involvement (ONI).

Boosting Block Parties Pilot

This past season, PBOT conducted a pilot project for the neighborhoods east of 82nd and in all of Cully. By translating documents, eliminating permit fees and offering free use barricades they had four times more participants. One family in Cully had never seen or met some neighbors despite having lived on the street for 14 years, noting that they would surely host again.
