Sharon Willoughby

Royal Botanic Gardens Kew

Our friend and colleague Sharon Willoughby from the Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria Cranbourne Gardens and (until recently) Chair of BGEN, is leaving RBGV to embark on an exciting adventure in the UK. In March 2017 Sharon will commence in a new role and her 'dream job' as Head of Interpretation RBG Kew.

Sharon worked for 18 years at the Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria and has led  many significant projects for the RBGV, including the interpretation planning and delivery for stages 1 and 2 of the award winning Australian Garden project.

Sharon has established herself as an international contributor in the field of interpretation, communicating and fostering the role that botanic gardens play for social inclusion and community engagement. She will be greatly missed by her team and colleagues.

Sharon's last day with the RBGV is Thursday 22 Dec.
