Market Updates
Vendor News
----------------------
The rain has arrived and that means so have the fresh roasted chestnuts from Bill at Nature's Wild Harvest. Head to the back row of market and warm your hands and heart with your first bag of the season.  We've got  Happy Harvest Farm  back after a week away, and  Nossa Familia Coffee  as well.
Another reminder  market is now opening at 9am  for the fall and winter seasons.
While summer has officially ended, there is still plenty of fresh produce to keep you excited into the fall. Roots in all their variety of color, flavor and ways to use them are in full force, and many still have their green tops attached which is like a whole bonus vegetable with your roots.

Get your hands on some Japanese turnips and you many just have located your new favorite vegetable (check at Winter Green, Persephone and Naked Acres Farms). Beets are not just red anymore, gold, striped, and white have joined the bunch and can be even easier to prepare as they don't bleed so much color (check at Big B, Sun Gold, and Stoneboat Farms)

And what's a sunchoke you say? They are a tuber that's a relative of the sunflower, and their mild and nutty flavor are great for roasting, mashing, or sliced thin and eaten fresh and you can find these fall treats at Sweet Leaf Farm.

See you Saturday at the market!
