November means fall weather and a turn toward the holidays.    
 
As the seasons change, it's a good time to reflect on what could change in your life.  Is the Spirit nudging you toward something new or letting go of something is no longer life-giving?
Join a class, a conversation, a mission project, or a Covenant group and listen for what the Spirit is doing in your life and in our world.  
Be Together
First Sunday of the month lunches
Join FPC young adults on the first Sunday of the month for lunch together after 11 a.m. worship at Newk's (101 N. Tryon St).
 
Panthers Game Social
Sunday, December 3 @ 1p.m.
 
Watch the Panthers play the Saints with your FPC friends!  Be on the lookout for an Evite with more details in the coming weeks.

Discuss current events and look to Scripture for guidance in making daily decisions.
 
Faith Foundations: Worship (P-206)     
Sundays, November 5, 12, and 19 
 
Worship is central to our faith and our community.  So why is our worship ordered as it is?  What does our way of worship say about what we believe about God? 
 
The Reverend Katherine Kerr will teach this class on November 5 and 12, and The Reverend Katelyn Gordon will teach on November 19.

Covenant Groups
 
We're getting ready for the next round of Covenant groups to launch in January!  If you'd like to be part of one of these small groups of 8-12 members that meet once or twice a month or would like more information, please fill out this  Google form.  
 
Serve Together
Habitat for Humanity
We'll finish up our two houses this month!  There are four Habitat build dates in November (November 4, 11, 17, and 18), and there are two shifts each day (8am to 12pm and 12pm to 4pm).  Sign up here to participate.
   
Westerly Hills Academy
We're well into the school year for students at Westerly Hills Academy, our partner school located in west Charlotte. Don't miss the opportunity to get involved in this amazing 17 year partnership!

Moving Ministry
No moving ministry this month!  Mark your calendar for December! 

Join the team on Saturday, December 9 from 9a.m. to 12.p.m. to help move families and individuals out of transition or homelessness into a place to call home. 
We will meet at Crisis Assistance Warehouse on 333 Dalton Road.  We would love to have 4  or more volunteers, so grab a friend and meet us for a great morning. 
 
Big muscles aren't a requirement.  Carrying a lamp shade is just as important as a sofa!   Sign up here.
