It was
61 years ago
now that a 36 year old O'Malley's employee purchased an existing Scottsdale Hardware Store. (Remember O'Malley's? Take a look at these blasts from the past. Fun to read.) His family talked him into putting his name on the building and Paul's Scottsdale Hardware was established. We are 3rd generation run now (bringing in the 4th) and have grown 8 times over servicing 4 east valley communities of Scottsdale, Fountain Hills, Tempe and Gilbert AND north of us in Payson. It has been an INCREDIBLE 61 years serving the communities our stores are in! We are looking forward to many, many more. We are also looking forward to celebrating these 61 years with our 61st Anniversary Sale November 4-5th! As always, make sure to head to your favorite Paul's Ace Hardware location on Saturday, November 4th for FREE hot dogs from 11-1 AND our 20% off Customer Appreciation Bucket Sale all day long. Holiday Cooking
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this time of year, especially the chance to make the turkey and meals for Thanksgiving and Christmas. I personally use a roaster oven handed down from my mom (or maybe I just took it... I can't remember) :) It is so nice and easy - just plug it in, put your turkey in (breast down if you don't care about looks, makes the white meat that much juicier) and get on with the rest of your meal preparation, stopping by to baste every once in a while of course. If you're more of a deep-fried turkey family, we can help you there too! We have turkey fryer kits and peanut oil at all of our locations. Just make sure to let us know how they turned out :) Of course for the rest of your holiday baking and cooking, you should check us out. Whether you are a pumpkin bread aficionado (like me), candy maker, cookie baker, into canning or just flat out a real darn good cook, we have what you need. I took a cooking class not too long ago and the chef was complaining he couldn't find butcher's twine anywhere - well we have that too. So get what you need and get to cooking! Shirts for Corey
We have a Paul's Family member in need of our help. Cory Adams has been part of the Paul's Ace Hardware Family since 2015. He has been driving a Paul's truck, delivering to customers and picking up from vendors all over Phoenix. Recently, Corey has been admitted to the
hospital after suffering a stroke and now has a blood clot. It i
s unclear how long it will take to be rid of this blood clot
and how long it will take before we will see him back on the
road in a Paul's truck once again. Until then, we would like to help him out. Throughout the month of November, the proceeds of the sales of all Paul's t-shirts will go directly to Corey to help him with medical bills and expenses.
