It's no TRICK, donate your TREATS!
Create a win-win-win situation by donating your unwanted Halloween candy in the NC foyer on Nov 1-3rd. Thanks to Girl Scout troop 10203, your children will eat less candy, soldiers overseas will get a treat from back home, and money raised will be donated to the Catholic Relief Services.

1st Quarter Report Cards & Conference Information
Grades close on November 3rd.  Report Card pick up begins Thursday, November 9th, at 7:30 A.M., and ends on Monday, Nov. 13, with after school cafe. Parents can come in person to get the cards or can send in a note with their student. Report cards not picked up by Monday night will be mailed. Note: There are many permission forms and an invitation card to pass on to a friend for our open house, November 15th. By bringing the card, your friend will be given an extra chance for our spirit wear drawing!
Parents who feel a  Parent/Teacher Conference  is needed must sign up for a meeting with the specific teacher when they pick up the report card on Thursday(11/9) or Monday (11/13). These "need based" conferences are held once a year. This year they will be on Nov. 20 & 29 from 5:00-7:30 P.M. Please bring your calendars and mark down your dates and times as no reminders are sent.

NET Retreat at NC will occur on
Wednesday, November 1, for the 8th grade, and Thursday, November 2, for the 7th grade.

What is a NET retreat? It is a one-day retreat led by a team of youths committed to helping fellow youth understand and accept God's unconditional love for them, and to grow in their commitment to Jesus Christ and His church. NET offers the team members' faith as witness to youth that faith in God is desirable, acceptable, and an exciting part of their lives.
Thank you to the Bourn, Hansen, Schmitt, Kirkwood, and McFadden Families for so graciously housing our retreat team. Blessings to you!

Athletics
What a way to close out the fall season! The Nashua Catholic Lady Wildcat Soccer team won the Tri-County Division 4 Championship! It was an extremely exciting game and our girls showed some true grit as they clawed their way back from a 3-0 deficit to win 4-3 in the closing minutes on a bicycle kick by 8 th grader Molly Finn! This championship is the first for the girls soccer program since 2003!
What a season, and what an accomplishment!
As much as we cherished the moments with the trophy in hand, the focus is quickly turning over to Winter as the season begins this week. Cheerleading is already underway with tryouts, and our basketball and wrestling teams are only days away
from starting up.
This winter should shape up to be an exciting one as Nashua Catholic once again welcomes the sights and sounds of four basketball teams! This year, the Wildcats will be boasting an “A” and a “B” team for both the boys and the girls. Multiple basketball teams, a talented and experienced group of wrestlers, and a cheerleading team returning numerous 8 th graders, creates a recipe for even more success here at NC!

Go Wildcats!
