REMINDER!  Address Confidentiality Program (ACP) County Contact

The Address Confidentiality Program (ACP) provides survivors of domestic violence, sexual offenses, and/or stalking with a legal substitute address for correspondence generated from the Colorado Benefits Management System (CBMS).

As part of the Department's monitoring of ACP access,  each county is requested to submit contact information for one (1) individual that will be responsible for communication with the Department, the Colorado Department of Human Services, and the Governor's Office of Information Technology regarding ACP cases.

If your county has not designated a contact, please submit your designated individual's contact information to  [email protected] as soon as possible.

Policy Updates

Prior Authorization Request (PAR) and Program Aid Code Mismatch - Letter to County Directors and Long Term Services and Supports (LTSS) Staff - TIME SENSITIVE

During the development of the interChange, the new claims payment system, the Department has discovered discrepancies between Program Aid Codes (PAC), which are codes that denote the LTSS program from the Colorado Benefits Management System (CBMS), the data in the claims payment system, and the Prior Authorization Request (PAR) on file. In addition to this discrepancy, the Department has also discovered individuals who have a PAR without correct coding in CBMS or who are coded for an LTSS program in CBMS without any PAR.

Once the new systems go live March 1, 2017, the above discrepancies will cause claims to not be paid for services rendered to individuals enrolled in an LTSS program. In order to prevent claim denials, the Department is seeking your assistance to correct the discrepancies.

A separate, encrypted email will be sent to LTSS staff and county directors that includes the cases that require action.  A new list of cases will be sent to county directors and LTSS staff on a biweekly basis.

The due date for resolution of these cases is February 15, 2017.

If you have any questions, contact the Medicaid Eligibility Inbox.
Please feel free to contact the County Relations team with any questions or comments.
