Advent Mass
Families and friends are invited to join us for Mass tomorrow  at 10:20 AM in the auditorium.  This is a joyous way to celebrate the Advent and Christmas season together.

Christmas Break begins Friday, December 23, at 11:30 AM.  All students are required to leave the building at this time unless staying for a supervised activity.  Students will return Wednesday, January 4, by 8:15 AM.
Open House
York Catholic's Annual Open House and Science Fair will be held Sunday, January 8, from 12-2 PM. Prospective students and their families are welcome to tour the school, talk with administrators, faculty, staff, and students, and enjoy learning more about York Catholic's exemplary academic programs for students in grades 7-12 where we blend technology with tradition.  The Snow Date is January 15 from 12-2 PM.

Youth League Night
Boys' basketball players and cheerleaders competing in youth leagues throughout York County are invited to Youth League Night at YC when the York Catholic boys take on Biglerville, Friday, January 6.  The JV game starts at 6 PM followed by the Varsity game.  

Youth league players will participate in the pre-game prayer and huddle, sit behind the bench for the game, and become part of the welcome tunnel before the game and at halftime. Youth league participants should wear their uniform shirt for free admittance to the games.  

Girls youth league basketball players are welcome to join the girls' team on Friday, January 20 vs. Bermudian Springs at the same times as noted above.

Making a Difference in the Community

The following letter was received from Hospice and Community Care after our music students performed:
 
On behalf of Hospice & Community Care, I'd like to thank you for sharing your musical talent with us at our Light Up A Life program. The Brass Band was the perfect addition to our event this year.
 
More than 200 people attended this event despite the cold weather because Light Up A Life is very meaningful to the many families who have suffered the loss of a loved one. We sincerely appreciate your performance which helps families navigate the holidays as they continue through the grief process. We hope you will consider joining us again next year.
 
Best wishes to you, your students, and all your families for a happy, healthy holiday and a prosperous new year.
