Holiday Card to the Governor

The Arc of New Jersey in partnership with the Coalition for a DSP Living Wage is gearing up for its State Budget advocacy to ensure individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) and their families are receiving the services they depend on. We recognize that community services and living in the community cannot be successful without the important work of our Direct Support Professionals (DSPs). They provide critical services to people with I/DD and we can't take their hard work for granted.  That is why we are asking you to participate in our holiday card drive to the Governor, to remind the State that DSPs have a tremendous impact on your life or the life of your loved one with I/DD.   As the Governor prepares the Fiscal Year 2018 State Budget, now is the time to speak out about just how important Direct Support Professionals are to people with developmental disabilities.

 Taking Action:
The more holiday cards the Governor receives, the more impact our campaign will have on the funding in next year's State Budget, so please take a moment and participate in this important advocacy effort. Please encourage other members of your family to participate as well.
