Leading is about giving of yourself...

For some, this time of year is filled with family, giving, and joy. But for others, Christmas Tree this is a diffic ult, sometimes painful time of year.

A recent loss this Christmas season has made me a little more reflective, and sensitive, to the many ways this time of year is celebrated and experienced.

I feel privileged to be able to connect with you all year long and am looking forward to sharing and growing with you in the coming year.

We hope you have a joyous holiday season, with time to reflect, connect and be generous.

'We're very fortunate that we get to work with a clientele that are generally very engaged in the process and are looking to have a significant impact, potentially, in the community if they're planning on being philanthropic at any point in time,' says Bob Manning  Photo: Chris Donovan/Telegraph-Journal
I'd never do anything else.

From my interview with Bob Manning, p ublished
July 2016 in the  Telegraph-Journal.

Bob Manning has an impressive track record of business experience that he has carried forward into his wealth adviser role at Owens MacFadyen Group; executive-level business planning, operations and marketing experience in the information technology sector, consulting and management for startup companies in Atlantic Canada.

The knowledge he gained while working in multi-national, national and regional organizations - helping them deal with the challenges of growth through disciplined planning and effective management - has served him well in his wealth advisory role at OMG Wealth.

I started my conversation with Bob by asking him to tell me what caused his mid-career move into a completely different sector.

3 Ways to Stay Fresh this Holiday Season...

1.  Get Outside! There's nothing like getting some fresh air and getting a little exercise to help with the stress of the season.

2.  Be Compassionate. Being an active listener, especially with friends and family, will help you be more present during this fleeting, special time of year.

3.  Be Intentional.  Decide how you are going to spend your time and focus your energy. Then stick to it. And enjoy the season to the fullest!
