2nd Annual Sustainable Enterprise Conference
Wednesday, November 1, Pleasant Hill Community Center

Why should you and/or your colleagues attend the 2nd annual Sustainable Enterprise Conference in Contra Costa County on Nov. 1st at the Pleasant Hill Community Center? Because the business sector is and will continue to be a primary driver of innovation in sustainability ... new products, new buildings, new solutions. We talk a lot about the need for more "green jobs" but what we really need is more green entrepreneurs! SEC is a non-political event/forum where we can openly discuss "the business of sustainability." While there are lots of issues and challenges, there are also lots of opportunities for new and existing businesses that will lead to new products, new solutions and new jobs. For more information visit www.SECContraCosta.com.

When Agnes finds Tilly's Dungeons & Dragons notebook, she stumbles into the action-packed adventure. She Kills Monsters is a high-octane dramatic comedy laden with homicidal fairies, nasty ogres, and 90s pop culture. The show is packed with a half-dozen combat scenes, adventure-style costumes, puppets, furry monsters, and even a dance-off.

The Acalanes DramaDons are incredibly excited to present She Kills Monsters as the entire production team from actors to stagecraft are working hard to put up a play that has so many cool things Acalanes has never seen before. Advance buzz for the play is strong and we fully expect tickets to become hotly sought after!  $7 Students and $12 General. Tickets available at ahsperformingarts.org.
