Groundbreaking Ceremony Held for Cambria Hotel & Suites at Chandler Viridian
A groundbreaking ceremony was held on Nov. 15 for Cambria hotel & suites Chandler, a 136-room hotel slated to open in 2017
. Located at the northwest corner of the Loop 101/Loop 202 interchange in the heart of Chandler's Price Corridor, the hotel is part of Chandler Viridian, a 25-acre mixed-use project that will also feature Class A office space, a 335-unit multifamily community, retail and restaurant offerings, and a pedestrian promenade to the Chandler Fashion Center.
"The City is excited to see significant progress continuing at Chandler Viridian. We believe the mix of uses, including the multifamily development, hotel and restaurants, all enhance the City's sense of place, which will help contribute to the viability of the office project. We look forward to seeing that project begin soon as we see this as a magnet for employers and employees that want to be in the heart of the Price Corridor," said Chandler Mayor Jay Tibshraeny.

First Element Hotel in Arizona to Open at the Chandler Fashion Center This December
Element Chandler Fashion Center has announced plans to open on Dec. 20, 2016. Located at 44 S. Chandler Village Drive, the 80,000-square-foot, 107-room hotel includes 600 square feet of meeting space.
A new concept to Arizona, the Element brand is part of Marriott International, which acquired Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide in September 2016. The first major hotel brand to require that all properties pursue sustainable certifications, Element is recognized as an industry leader in the eco-space and offers travelers a fresh, reimagined interpretation of the extended stay hotel experience.
