Books, a supportive community, the joy of discovery. These are all on the top of the librarian's thankfulness list as we transition from beautiful weather and outdoor fun into more cozy activities and preparation for the winter holidays. What are you thankful for?

We've got some awesome events for you to be thankful for, including a Music Together sample class for babies, Harvest Party for families, and even live salsa music and dancing lessons - e njoy your November!

Please note:  Libraries are closed on Friday, 11/10 in observance of Veterans Day, and Thursday, 11/23 and Friday, 11/24 for the Thanksgiving holiday.
Upcoming Happenings

Free Music Together sample class for babies & toddlers
Little ones & their families are welcome to a free Music Together class just for them at the Prior Lake Library! Music Together is an internationally recognized early childhood music and movement program for children from birth through age 5 and the grownups who love them. 
For children 0 months to 24 months and a parent or caregiver. The event is free and no registration required.
Wednesday, 11/1 at 6pm

Fall & Thanksgiving-themed crafts, snacks and activities for kids ages 2-10 and their grownups, plus a visit from Farmer Rich & an animal friend! Sponsored by the Scott County Library Teen Advisory Board.
Space is limited, so please register each child individually before Friday, 11/17.

Early literacy is what your child needs to know about reading and writing before they learn to read & write. Let the library help develop your child's early literacy skills with the five practices of Talk, Sing, Read, Write, & Play at our Early Literacy classes and storytimes
