Rediscover the Rail Trail - West End

Have a day of discovery in the west end along Bermuda’s spectacular Rail Trail, exploring Bermuda's heritage and culture with a series of tours, excursions and experiences. After exploration on the Rail Trail come for an island culture festival at Somerset Cricket Club.

Note: A free train ride is available between experiences on the Railway Trail.

11:00 Depart SCC to Fort Scaur on foot for the Heritage and Nature Tour (starts 11:15, 60 minutes) or step it up a notch and take the free train to Hog Bay Park for a hike (starts 11:30, 45 minutes)
12:40 Stop in on the Ironshore Refreshment Station for some free Ashley’s Lemonade
12:45 Catch the Ledgelet’s Cottage Colony Tour (30 minutes)
13:30 Walk over to the Heydon Trust Tour (30 minutes)
14:00 Join the culture festival at SCC

12:00 Depart SCC to go fishing near Fort Scaur. Catch something? You may be cooking it later at the culture festival
12:45 Stop in at the Ironshore Refreshment Station for some free Ashley’s Lemonade
13:00 Join the culture festival
13:45 Depart on the mountain bike tour to see all the west end Rail Trail sites
14:45 Rejoin the culture festival

12:45 Scoot over to the Ledgelet’s Cottage Colony Tour
13:30 Walk over to the the Heydon Trust Tour (30 minutes)
14:00 The train will wait to take you back to Somerset Cricket Club
