Caracole Holiday Tree Sale

Buy that Christmas tree, wreath, or roping - or volunteer your time to help us sell! This is one of Caracole's favorite fundraisers of the year!
Each December, Caracole has a Christmas Tree fundraiser at Findlay Market. We sell Fraser Firs, Scotch Pines, ropes of garland and wreaths! During this event, we have tons of volunteers prune, package, and help sell trees where all the proceeds benefit Caracole!
Stop by the market house and purchase a tree (it benefits Caracole!) on one of the dates below OR volunteer with family and friends! (Santa Hats provided.) Email if you're interested in volunteering!

Caracole is the HIV/AIDS service organization in Cincinnati. Our mission is to reduce the impact of HIV/AIDS in our community through housing, care, and prevention. We currently serve more than 1500 clients in the eight counties of southwest Ohio.

Gay Movie Night

Join ISQCCBE Empress XXV, Molly Mormen and Emperor XXV Scot Fromeyer as they host Gay Movie Nights at Tillies Lounge. Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) can provide a high level of protection against HIV and is even more effective when combined with condoms and other prevention tools. A PrEP study will be opening this winter at the University of Cincinnati. If you are an MSM or TGW, HIV-, over the age of 18, living in the Cincinnati Tri-State area, and interested in being contacted when this study opens, please call Jaasiel @ 513-548-6279.

PFLAG Cincinnati - Meetings
|
|
PFLAG Cincinnati now hosts two meetings each month in two locations.
Second Tuesday monthly meetings start with a social period at 7:00 pm with the meeting from 7:30 to 9:30. They are held at Mt. Auburn Presbyterian Church, 103 Wm. Howard Taft, Cincinnati 45219 . After announcements, introductions and the program, we break into small groups and share our stories. Third Wednesday meetings are held from 7 to 9 pm at Mt. Washington Presbyterian Church, 6474 Beechmont Ave, Cincinnati 45230. We start with small groups followed by the program. PFLAG is the organization for parents, families, allies and LGBTQ people united for equality --- PFLAG Cincinnati is a 501(c)3 organization and not affiliated with any religious or political group.

Blind folded face painters will create drag looks like you have never witnessed - and will never see again! Molly Mormen is the featured guest performer.
Sunday, January 22nd from 6-9pm at The Cabaret. The preshow starts at 6p.m. and you can paint a drag queen on stage with the wheel of misfortune before she calls her final number as the first Kamikaze Queen. Designer Jell-O shots. Raffles and laughs for all!

Queen City Sisters at the Fairfield Community Arts Center - February 10th
With vintage style and a touch of sass, their swingin' beat will have you tapping your toes and snapping your fingers. This a cappella trio dazzles audiences with their close harmony arrangements of songs from the 1930s, 40s, and 50s! Classic songs by Rosemary Clooney, Doris Day, The Andrews Sisters and more round out an entertaining song list.

The Imperial Sovereign Queen City Court of the Buckeye Empire, Inc. (The Court) is a local, Cincinnati-based 501-(c)(3) incorporated non-profit organization. The Court's purpose is to raise fund for contribution to and in support of any and all charitable [minimum 501 (c)(3)] causes. The Court represents the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, questioning, allied communities, and all concerned in support of community functions.

Resource for LGBTQ Youth
|
|
GLSEN Greater Cincinnati hosts a weekly Youth Group meeting. The GLSEN Youth Group is a safe and welcoming space for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning (LGBTQ) youth and their allies to gather. Each week the group explores a topic of interest to middle and high school-aged youth with an emphasis on LGBTQ issues. Youth group also includes weekly social time and a quarterly social outing or activity. GLSEN Youth Group relies on a series of youth generated ground rules to keep our space supportive and positive. We participate in days of action sponsored by GLSEN national and provide opportunities and resources for group members to organize actions in their school community, such as Day of Silence and Ally Week. - Click here for more details.
