Holiday events include:
A Christmas Story: Miami Little Theatre presents the holiday play Thursday, Dec. 1, through Sunday, Dec. 4, with performances at 7:30 p.m. Thursday and Friday and 2:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for senior citizens, students and children. The play covers the exploits of youngster Ralphie Parker, who spends most of his time dreaming of a "Red Ryder BB gun."
A Big Band Christmas: The Coleman Theatre and the Tulsa Praise Orchestra and Choir present "A Big Band Christmas," featuring national recording artist Dave Boyer, at 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10. Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for senior citizens and $5 for students and children.
Christmas Vacation: The Coleman Theatre presents the contemporary holiday classic movie at 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 16. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students and children. The evening will also feature a special pre-movie Christmas concert by Dennis James on "The Mighty Wurlitzer" pipe organ. Come dressed in your best "Cousin Eddie" costume and receive a free box of popcorn. If you are judged the best "Cousin Eddie," you will receive free tickets to the Riders In The Sky concert in March.
Miami Misbehavin': The Miami Arts & Humanities Council presents the wildly popular variety show at 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 17. Tickets are $5. Enjoy an evening of holiday entertainment provided by talented community members, as well as a special presentation by Dennis James, the master of "The Mighty Wurlitzer" pipe organ.
It's A Wonderful Life: The Coleman Theatre presents the classic holiday movie at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 18. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students and children. The afternoon will also feature a special pre-movie Christmas concert by Dennis James on "The Mighty Wurlitzer" pipe organ.
