This week's adventures...
Our upcoming week may bring more excitement than we desire, as the road construction on Main Street will resume on Monday morning at 7am! Both drop off and pick up procedures will take on a new look and feel, as we strive daily to ensure the safety of our students. Please read the box below in its entirety for more details regarding construction project. Thank you in advance for your support, patience and understanding, as we do our absolute best to maintain the safety of your children, as well as everyone’s sanity!
This coming week, our 8th graders will be shifting into gear, as they prepare for one of their major fundraising events of the school year. The Family Halloween Dance is a frighteningly fun school tradition and complete crowd pleaser! Trick or treating in the first floor hallway, dancing and playing games in the gym, and of course the infamous haunted stage are the highlights of the evening. Please plan on joining us for our annual Halloween dance that bound to be a spooktacular evening. To get in the spirit of the evening, students will be invited to dress in black and orange on Friday the 27
th
.
Right around the corner, and equally as popular, is the arrival of our All Saints Day Celebration! Our faculty and students will celebrate this beautiful school tradition and Holy Day of Obligation by dressing as saints, attending Mass, and participating in an awesome All Saints Day Trunk or Treat. Thank you to our SEC reps for encouraging and motivating others to share of their TIME and TREASURE to make this school event so special for our school family. The day promises to be a wonderful confirmation of the practice and appreciation of our faith. If you would like to get involved in some way in this “demonstration of our faith in action”, please reach out to Mrs. Shaughnessy at

.
We have much to look forward to, and much to be grateful for!
Have a wonderful weekend and God bless.

Thank you for your cooperation with the amended drop-off and pick-up procedures due to the construction on Main Street. Apparently there is a broken piece of equipment that delayed this week's work, but we are told work will begin again on Monday and continue for 2 weeks, 7am-5pm. Should we be limited to one driveway again, we will implement those same procedures.
Going home today in Friday Folders you should find a sign on colored paper that we ask you to keep in your vehicle and place in your windshield as you approach and enter the school property for 2:30 dismissal during construction.
These signs will assist the police officer to sort out local traffic at our entrance and assist school staff in the parking lot in the sort of vehicles for pick-up.
Due to the potential delays that could result in commutes, and also to allow for some ease of congestion at high traffic times, there will be
no tardies issued to students until 8:45am and after school extended care billing will also not begin until 3:00pm
while construction is taking place
.
Thank you in advance for your patience as we work with the town to ensure student safety!

Out of concern for student safety, we will
not be attending school Mass on Monday
due to the projected construction traffic and disruption on our property and on Main Street.
Students continue to pray a decade-a-day for all our special intentions and for an increase of Faith, Hope and Love in each of our families!
We will persevere in prayer!!

FLY on the WALL...
heard from the HALL
This week's fly was soaring around at dismissal (actually last Friday), and a kindergartener was so excited to show me a "spinner" she had made as part of a STEM activity with Mrs. Jason.
Kindergartener
:
"Mrs. Russo, Mrs. Russo, look at my spinning thing
!
(as she twirled strings and pulled tightly, making the center colorful disc rotate quickly)
Me:
"Wow, that is really neat!"
Kindergartener
:
"Ye
ah, but don't look at it for too long or you will get appetized!"
