We gasped when we saw this quilt!
One of our fabric reps visited us recently and we were instantly mesmerized by this quilt! Many of our customers are looking for modern quilts and also "guy" quilts. This quilt featuring Textures by In the Beginning Fabrics fills the bill for both!
What about that square in the lower LH corner?
That's the original Antelope Canyon pattern by Laurie Shifrin. I knew if we showed the picture above, someone was bound to ask about the other colorway! I called In the Beginning Fabrics, and guess who answered the phone? Laurie Shifrin! Amazing! My good luck! I asked Laurie if we could borrow her original quilt for a few weeks to take a closer look at the fabrics she used. This quilt is in the store now!
We are kitting both quilts!
Having Laurie's quilt in the store has helped us pick out similar batiks (in some case we had the exact fabrics). We are offering two versions:
Original 74" x 74" version
Larger 95" x 95" version
The multi-color version is available now. We are taking reservations for the textures quilt, and will deliver those shortly after the fabric is delivered in late January.

It Gets Even Better!
This quilt is made in quadrants. All you have to do is rotate the sections to get a circle in the center - a completely different look! Or, alternate the background colors to emphasize certain areas of the quilts.

This kit includes all fabrics for the top plus binding, as well as a full-color pattern with bird templates, fusible interfacing and the Fab Five ruler. If you look closely at the pattern, you will see that the rows are constructed slightly offset so there are no seams to match vertically! We have used similar fabrics to the ones shown on the pattern.

With simple blocks and a great design, this quilt is easy to assemble. You could still make it for Christmas!
