School Board News
Board of School Directors Organized for 2017

The Board of School Directors met on Wednesday, December 7, for the purpose of electing officers and for electing members to serve on specific committees.  They also approved the Board’s meeting dates for the 2017 calendar year.

Career Magnet School Food Pantry
Faculty, staff, students, school board members, as well as community members and contributors to the Career Magnet School’s Food Pantry gathered recently to celebrate its first anniversary.

It’s that time of year when inclement weather could cause a school closing, delay, or early dismissal.  In the event this happens, the Chambersburg Area School District’s Communications Department has several ways to ensure that you are notified

Shippensburg University School Study Council Recognizes Outstanding Teachers

Maribeth Andrews, Emotional Support teacher at the Chambersburg Area Senior High School and Kimberly Clugston, Business Teacher at the Chambersburg Area Middle School North were
recognized by Shippensburg University and the Shippensburg University School Study Council during American Education Week in mid- November.

Pizza Lesson
Students in Jeanine Zook’s class at CAMS South combined math and ELA class for a ‘delicious’ lesson called Fun with Pizza!   The lesson included reading labels, sequencing, listening to pizza orders, and learning about fractions.
