END OF SEASON NEWSLETTER

The 2016 season was a great one for us, both of our camps were up and running and the guest feed back has been phenomenal. It was an interesting season with the rains ending early but the water level remaining relatively high due to the water management 170 km upstream at Kariba.

The game viewing continues to improve and we are happy to report that we are now seeing the Mushika Pack of wild dogs regularly on the banks close to Anabezi and Amanzi.

2016 was also the year that the conservation efforts of the park were reinforced with Conservation Lower Zambezi opening a base at the Kulefu Airstrip, this new base will be used to better protect the Eastern part of the park.

"3 for 2" SPECIAL AND 2017 RATES

Anabezi and Amanzi rates are available for download here and on our website, our '3 for 2' Special continues to be available for both Amanzi, booked by 31st December 2016, and Anabezi booked by 1st April 2017 for travel within the season.

DIRECT FLIGHTS JEKI - MFUWE WITH PROFLIGHT

Proflight have announced a daily flight from Jeki to Mfuwe return starting from the 15th of June 2017 as per the below schedule:

* Jeki to Mfuwe - Departs 09.00 and Arrives 10.30
* Mfuwe to Jeki - Departs 11.05 and Arrives 12:35

AMANZI HAS ALSO GONE SOLAR!

In March of 2016, Anabezi Camp commissioned a Solar System capable of producing 57.3 kWh of power per day, running the entire camp. Now Amanzi has followed suit, with a smaller 9 kVA system which will meet all of the camp's power needs. With the new system in place, the energy requirements of both Anabezi and Amanzi are completely met by solar power!
